The 85572A electromagnetic field (EMF) triaxial isotropic antenna connected with the FieldFox handheld analyzer.
Radio EMF testing is necessary to evaluate total RF exposure in any given area due to deployment of various RF / microwave networks, such as mobile phones, base stations, Wi-Fi®, smart meters, IoT devices, and satellite and radar systems. Exposure levels set by government and regulatory agencies require verification in the field for compliance.
The Keysight FieldFox Option 358 measurement application, connected to the Keysight 85572A EMF triaxial isotropic antenna, enables EMF measurements in spectrum analyzer and in over-the-air (OTA) 5G New Radio (NR) modes. Additionally, with FieldFox Option 370 or 371, the EMF measurements can be made in OTA LTE FDD or TDD mode, respectively. The total field strength is measurable across the frequency band of interest.

The Keysight 85574A serves as a portable wideband antenna, functioning across a frequency range of 20 MHz to 8.5 GHz. Designed primarily for RF direction-finding and transmitter hunting, it seamlessly integrates with the Keysight FieldFox handheld spectrum analyzer equipped with Option 366, the interference-finding (manual) application, and Option 307, the GPS receiver. This combined setup empowers network managers to efficiently pinpoint sources of RF interference.
N9910XVDI
The N9910XVDI extends the frequency coverage of the FieldFox handheld analyzers up to 170 GHz.
Field-based engineers need precise millimeter-wave (mmWave) measurements to advance modern wireless communications and radar systems. This precision is critical for 5G, 6G, aerospace and defense, and automotive radar transmission / receiving tests. Keysight FieldFox addresses this issue. It enables mmWave measurements in a lightweight, portable solution, when paired with the Keysight N9910XVDI frequency extender modules. This mmWave solution covers up to 90 GHz and beyond1, offering a viable and cost-effective tool for mmWave signal analysis in field and lab environments.
