W8532EP IC-CAP Root 模型產生器軟體授權包含了 Keysight Root MOS、FET 和二極體模型的量測與萃取程序。
Keysight Root 模型是一種以資料為基礎的模型,而非實體層或實證模型。透過直接從能夠準確表現元件終端特性的所量測直流和小型信號 S 參數資料,產生元件專用的大型信號模型。且該模型無須電路模擬或最佳化就可建構。S 參數和直流資料的使用,讓得到的模型能夠以頻率分散準確預估非線性元件效能,這是只以一組非線性電流模擬的模型無法做到的。Keysight Root 模型可以作為偏壓、功率位準及頻率的函數來預估元件效能。它可以讓電路在包含的元件擁有量測資料,卻沒有良好實體層或實證模型的情況下來進行模擬。
每個模型產生器工具套件皆可處理資料擷取:直流偏壓位準和交流頻率範圍首先由使用者設定,隨後工具套件就會接手控制系統硬體以進行直流與 S 參數量測。因此,該模型不像先前所有的實證模型需要常見的模擬和最佳化需求就可以產生。輸出資料檔案能夠被 Keysight 先進設計系統(ADS)直接讀取。在模擬期間,來自所產生的 Keysight Root 模型之表格式狀態函數資料,會使用多維樣條函數進行內插運算,來模擬元件的終端特性。
