Keysight’s N1010A FlexDCA is the software that runs Keysight’s digital communication analyzer (DCA) family of sampling oscilloscopes (also known as equivalent-time oscilloscopes). A DCA is an instrument that helps visualize and analyze the analog properties of high-speed signals such as those used in wireline telecom and data center links.
FlexDCA is installed at the factory on DCA-X mainframes but can also be installed on a PC to control a DCA-M or remotely control a DCA-X.

The D9021HDMC electrical performance validation and compliance software for HDMI transmitter supporting Infiniium V, Z and UXR-Series oscilloscopes gives you a fast and easy way to verify and debug your High Definition Multi-media Interface (HDMI) designs for set-top boxes, Digital Video Recorders, DVD players, and motherboard systems. The HDMI compliance test software lets you automatically execute HDMI electrical checklist tests and displays the results in a comprehensive report format. In addition to the measurement data, the report provides a margin analysis that shows how closely your device passed or failed each test.
This software supports post processing of waveforms to greatly improve productivity. Post processing can be done on the oscilloscope after waveforms have been acquired or on a PC with a licensed compliance application using Infiniium Offline D9010BSEO. Other required components for solution are: a test point adapter with HDMI plug (TPA-P), probe amplifiers and probe heads, high quality matched cables, and an EDID and SCDC controller device.
HDMI2.1 TMDS (formally HDMI2.0) HDMI2.1 FRL and HDMI2.2 FRL require single-ended connections for single-ended measurements as well as for TP2 differential measurements. Keysight probe and switching offerings include N7010A active termination adapters for the lowest cost connection or N7003A Infiniimode amplifiers with internal switches to enable one connection full FRL testing. Full automation for complete testing of all HDMI versions for a device is possible with switch matrix solution which requires a mainframe and switch modules. The PCI Express electrical test software allows you to automatically execute PCI Express electrical tests for endpoints, root complex and new ASICs (chip level) and displays the results in a flexible report format. The PCI Express electrical test software includes tests for verifying that your transmitter is compliant with the PCI Express 5.0 BASE and PCIe 5.0 CEM specification at a max data rate of 32GT/s which also includes uncorrelated jitter measurements and other tests while also offering updated PCIe 5.0 reference clock tests.
The PCI Express electrical test software utilizes the Q-domain approach (PCI Express 5.0 BASE specification) for all supported data rates. This ensures that your PCI Express TX measurements will have consistency with measurements made using the PCI-SIG’s standalone SigTest software including Sigtest Phoenix for 32G PCIe 5.0 measurements.

The PCI Express electrical performance validation and compliance software requires the D9020JITA jitter, vertical and phase noise analysis software and the D9010DMBA InfiniiSim Basic (or D9020ASIA InfiniiSim advanced). In addition, you will need at least two phase-matched test cables of appropriate bandwidth. Some of the measurements performed by the D9050PCIC software require that you build or acquire a custom test board, assembly, or other test fixture for your DUT. For CEM testing you will need the appropriate fixture(s) consistent with the data rates you test as provided and specified by the PCI-SIG.
A custom fixture is typically needed when you are testing new silicon or custom ASIC. An adapter may be required when testing a form factor other than the CEM form factor.

With faster edge speeds and shrinking data valid windows in today's high-speed digital designs, insight into the causes of jitter has become critical for success. This jitter analysis software, combined with Keysight's Infiniium 90000, V-, Z- or UXR-Series oscilloscopes, is a key tool for identifying and quantifying jitter components that affect the reliability of your design. Time correlation of jitter to the real-time signal makes it easy to trace jitter components to their sources. Additional compliance views and a measurement setup wizard now simplify and automate RJ/DJ separation for testing against industry standards.
This software automatically detects embedded clock frequencies and repetitive patterns of the data on the oscilloscope inputs and calculates the level of data-dependent jitter (DDJ) that is contributed to the total jitter (TJ) PDF by each transition in the pattern. It also comes with both spectral and tail-fit jitter separation algorithm.
Every waveform is different. As a result, having the flexibility of multiple jitter separation solutions means better answers for each individual waveform. Use the new tail-fit algorithm to properly identify and measure aperiodic bounded uncorrelated jitter, which is especially useful if the waveform is being influenced by cross-talk.
The phase noise analysis feature measures phase noise in a clock source. Phase noise measurement results are presented in a log frequency plot where the amplitude units are dBc/Hz (decibels relative to the carrier power normalized to a 1 Hz bandwidth). Phase noise is one of the most important figures of merit of a signal generating device and can be a limiting factor in a mission-critical application within aerospace and defense, as well as in communications.

This application includes a suite of configurable protocol-level trigger conditions specific to Automotive Ethernet OABR and IEEE standards. The multi-tab protocol viewer includes a correlation between the waveforms and the selected packet, enabling you to quickly move between the physical and protocol layer information using the time-correlated tracking marker.
NOTE: The 100 and 1000BASE-T1 protocol generates a full duplex connection using a differential pair of wires for data transmission. If your wire pair signal is transmitting in opposite directions at the same time, it cannot be decoded. To separate the signals, you can use the Automotive Ethernet fixture available for purchase as part of AE6000T or standalone as AE6941A.

The Keysight eDP Electrical Performance and Characterization Toolset is an industry-first test software package in enabling the creation of a test process tailored to the needs of a specific product, company work environment, and supply chain where there is a desire to have common test processes. eDP1.4 allows for arbitrary data rates, levels, pre-emphasis settings, channel models, and specifications which is difficult to handle using typical compliance software approach. The toolset not only allows for the arbitrary conditions but arbitrary test limits as well and enables level measurements to be measured relative to a previous state or in absolute terms.
Template driven test:
This software toolset builds on the highly successful DisplayPort compliance software (D9040DPPC) and extends the concept with an approach called ‘template driven test.’ A template can be created for local testing to facilitate numerous products of the same type and validation/characterization goals or can be shared with colleagues, vendors, or customers to ensure consistency of results throughout the supply chain.

In addition to supporting PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0 measurements, the PCI Express electrical performance validation and compliance software performs a wide range of legacy electrical tests as per the PCI Express 1.0a, 1.1, and 2.0 electrical specifications for new silicon, add-in cards, and motherboard systems as documented in chapter 4 of the base specification and section 4 of the Card Electromechanical specification. In addition to full swing (800 mV) testing, the software also supports testing for low-power, half-swing devices (400 mV) as per the PCI Express.
The PCI Express electrical performance validation and compliance software requires the high-speed serial data analysis software, one of the PCI-SIG approved compliance test fixtures for CEM or U.2 testing (CBB3 or CLB3 or the appropriate U.2 test fixtures), an Infiniium high performance real time oscilloscope, and at least two SMA/SMP cables or InfiniiMax active differential probes.
