Keysight’s N1010A FlexDCA is the software that runs Keysight’s digital communication analyzer (DCA) family of sampling oscilloscopes (also known as equivalent-time oscilloscopes). A DCA is an instrument that helps visualize and analyze the analog properties of high-speed signals such as those used in wireline telecom and data center links.
FlexDCA is installed at the factory on DCA-X mainframes but can also be installed on a PC to control a DCA-M or remotely control a DCA-X.

The software combines both a 64b/66b decoder and a link training decoder. This enables engineers to decode 64b/66b data and link training data in less than 30 seconds. It includes a suite of configurable protocol-level searches and software-based triggering specific to 64b/66b and link training of Ethernet technologies such as 100GBASE-KR/CR. The link training signaling, also known as Differential Manchester Encoding (DME), provides detailed information on control channels such as status update and coefficient registers. The multi-tab protocol viewer includes correlation between the waveforms and the selected packet, enabling users to quickly move between the physical and protocol layer information using the time correlated tracking marker. The 64b/66b and link training decoder is compatible with 100GBASE-KR/CR. It is compatible with Keysight 90000 Series, V-Series, Z-Series and UXR-Series oscilloscopes.
