This Instrument Software is for N5185A and N5186A instruments with a P700 CPU – see how to install.

Required Upgrade Path A.13.02  >  A.15.06  >  A.16.20  >  A.17.03  >  A.18.xx  >  A.19.xx  >  A.20.xx

The instrument must be running A.16.20 before A.17.03 is installed. The instrument must be running A.17.03 before A.18 is installed. Continue sequentially through A.19 and A.20.

There is no need to recalibrate when new instrument is installed. 

Contact Keysight Technologies if you need a version prior to A.16.20.00

During a firmware upgrade, the FPGA update may take several minutes. Do not power off the instrument while the FPGA update is in progress.
