E5052A Signal Source Analyzer Firmware Update
Download Instructions for Firmware
- Click on the "E5052A Firmware Revision X.XX" listed below the page. Copy the file (.exe) to a temporary directory (e.g. C:\TEMP) on your computer's hard drive.
- Extract the files by selecting the temporary directory and unzip the .exe file by double-clicking on the file.
- Copy all the extracted files (6 files in total) to the USB memory and attach it to the E5052A.
- Click "setup.vbs" on the USB memory drive to update the firmware. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen (Uninstalling the older version of the E5052A and installing the latest revision of the firmware.
NOTE1: If you use floppy disks to install the new firmware into the E5052A, refer to the "Upgrade documentation" listed below the page. (5 floppy disks are needed)

Note: Installing new EULA
To apply the Microsoft Windows security patch, agreement with new End Users License Agreement (EULA) is required. Please download the EULA installer from this page and install it. By downloading, you agree to the terms and conditions of the software licensing agreement.
Updating driver for new E5053A
When you connect the E5052A with the E5053A with serial number MY452xxxxx, SG452xxxxx or above, the driver update is required. See instructions.
