In this PCI Express (PCIe) 6.0 transmitter test demo, PCI-SIG board member and Keysight PCIe solutions planner Rick Eads shows how the UXR-Series oscilloscope can measure PCIe 6.0 signals from silicon operating at 64 Gb/s. Witness the tools utilized in this new PCIe 6.0 landscape. Rick showcases the automated compliance test software, highlighting its ability to perform essential measurements for PCIe 6.0 validation and compliance testing. New metrics such as signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SNDR), 48-edge jitter measurements, and PAM4 level measurements are explored. The demonstration also focuses on measuring signal de-emphasis transmitted by devices under test (DUT). Real-time signals are generated by a Synopsis PCIe 6.0 DUT.
