14565Bデバイス特性評価ソフトウェアは、ポータブル型のバッテリ駆動デバイス（3Gハンドセット、PDA、無線LAN、Bluetooth(TM)対応デバイスなど）の電流特性を評価し、長時間の動作を実現することを目的としています。

このソフトウェアは、66300移動体通信用DC電源の制御や、デバイスの電流の流れを測定するグラフィカル・ユーザ・インタフェースを備えています。14565Bを66309B/D、66311B、66332A DC電源で使用した場合は、波形捕捉モードしか使用できません。66319B/Dおよび66321B/D DC電源で使用した場合は、バッテリ・ドレイン解析を含め、ソフトウェア機能をフルに使用できます。バッテリ・ドレイン解析では、バッテリ電流の特性を評価し、電流ドレインやバッテリの寿命に影響を及ぼす設計上のトレードオフを評価することができます。バッテリ・ドレイン解析機能を使用すれば、1000時間までのバッテリ電流ドレイン測定を記録して、CCDF解析が可能です。

新機能の搭載により、他のプログラム／プログラミング言語（Keysight無線テスト・マネージャ、NI LabVIEW（1）、Keysight VEE、Microsoft（R） Visual Basic、Microsoft Excelなど）によって14565Bを制御して、電流ドレイン測定を自動化し、他のDUT入力信号や動作（RF／デジタル制御および動作など）と同期させることができます。この新しい14565Bソフトウェアにはテスト・オートメーション機能があり、実環境下でのバッテリ電流ドレインの特性評価に伴う時間のかかる反復作業（ビデオ・ストリーミング、音楽のダウンロード、テキスト・メッセージング）を自動化することにより、貴重なリソースや時間の節約を実現します。
