Vibro-Acoustics (VA One) 2024.0

Highlights of this release:

• Numerical SEA
  • Introduction of Numerical SEA method: Complex structures which are difficult to model with classic, analytical SEA representations are represented more accurately by seamlessly automated, component-level FE models to provide key SEA parameters.  This enables high accuracy of complex structures within the context of an SEA framework which retains its performance advantages for large models and high frequencies.  The initial version of Numerical SEA focuses on demonstrating the advantages of this approach for periodic structures - more complexity and expansion to non-periodic structures are planned in future releases.

Please be advised that the Stress, DFAT, Shock and Path 49 modules were removed fromVibro-Acoustics (VA One) 2024.0 while under compliance review as part of the process of integration into Keysight Technologies. 

These modules, if needed, are available in all previous Vibro-Acoustics (VA One) versions (2023.5 and earlier) and will be made available again in all future releases beginning with Vibro-Acoustics (VA One) 2024.1 which is planned for March 2025 release.

Vibro-Acoustics (VA One) 2023.5 release has several key enhancements especially related to model organization and creation of SEA models from FE geometry.  Of special note are the ability to plot and export custom user-defined contour plots, move a sectioning plane to a selected node, and use an encryption feature to protect confidential material properties.

Vibro-Acoustics (VA One) 2023.0 release places key focus on additional improvements to and acceleration of SEA Modeling, substantial FE updates, and  improvements to the robustness and usability of an H-matrix BEM solve option bringing improved solution times and reduced memory as its flagship feature sets. Some key general enhancements usable with several methods and types of models were also introduced.
