The main objective of this software patch is to solve DC capacitor test that causes subsequent unpowered test with "ed" option to time out. This 08.21pa patch include enhancement with a new board setting that allow users to control the Interactive program generator (IPG) for writing AC or DC capacitor tests as well as Windows 7 specific change request. Please refer to release notes for detail of change requests.
This software patch should only be installed on Microsoft Windows systems with Medalist i3070 08.21p software release. It can be installed on systems with i3070 test system software or i3070 development software.
Installing the 08.21pa Software Patch
This software patch must be installed using the administrator login (or a login with administrator privileges).
Follow these steps to install the 08.21pa software patch on Windows systems running the Medalist i3070 08.21p software:
1 Save the Keysighti3070_08.21pa.exe file to the hard disk.
2 Close all open programs.
3 Double- click Keysighti3070_08.21pa.exe.
4 Follow the on- screen instructions for installation.
5 To validate that the software was installed correctly:
a On the Start menu, select Programs > Keysight ICT > Korn Shell.
b In the Korn Shell window, type version and press Enter.
The following software revision should be displayed:
Keysight Medalist i3070 08.21pa 1011 WN.
