Radio EMF testing is necessary to evaluate total RF exposure in any given area due to deployment of various RF / microwave networks, such as mobile phones, base stations, Wi-Fi^®, smart meters, IoT devices, and satellite and radar systems. Exposure levels set by government and regulatory agencies require verification in the field for compliance.

The Keysight FieldFox Option 358 measurement application, connected to the Keysight 85572A EMF triaxial isotropic antenna, enables EMF measurements in spectrum analyzer and in over-the-air (OTA) 5G New Radio (NR) modes. Additionally, with FieldFox Option 370 or 371, the EMF measurements can be made in OTA LTE FDD or TDD mode, respectively. The total field strength is measurable across the frequency band of interest.
