ソース／メジャーユニットを使ってIV LED特性評価

発光ダイオード(LED)の電流-電圧(IV)特性を評価するには、電圧と電流の両方を出力して測定する能力が必要です。 ソース／メジャーユニット(SMU)を使ってこれらの測定を実行することができます。 1チャネルのSMUで十分にLEDの基本的なIVパラメータをテストすることができます。 光学テストには2チャンネルを使用し、1チャンネルは、フォトダイオードの電流を測定し、もう1チャンネルはLEDを駆動します。

電圧または電流の出力に制限を設けてデバイスを保護し、デバイスの自己発熱が測定結果を歪ませるのを防ぐためにパルスド測定を使用します。 また、テストリードの残留抵抗による電圧誤差を克服するために、4線式抵抗測定方式の導入も検討します。 1組のリード線が電流を、もう1組のリード線が電圧をモニタリングし、被試験デバイスの電圧降下を測定するだけで、ケーブル抵抗の影響を排除します。 4線式抵抗測定では、指定された電圧でセンスポイント間の電圧を保ち、指定された測定条件下でデバイスを特性評価することができます。
