Keysight E2271A 44マトリックス・スイッチは、シングル幅、レジスタ・ベースのMモジュールです。本モジュールは、44リレー・マトリックス構成のDPSTラッチ式リレー・スイッチを16個搭載しています。これにより、4つの送信元4つの送信先の2線スイッチングを、あらゆる組み合わせで接続できます。このためテスト・システムで、柔軟性に富んだマトリックス・スイッチングを実現できます。
要求されたリレー動作の完了時に、カード上のロジックがマスク可能な割り込み(INTCタイプ)を発生させます。また、本モジュールは最大8個のリレー動作を記憶するFIFOも備えています。モジュールに高速設定変更を書き込むことで、リレー動作のグループ全体が完了したときに、1つの割り込み発生のみによってそれらを実行できます。
本モジュールを使用することで、被試験デバイスのいくつかのポイントに対し、複数の測定器を容易に接続できます。またKeysight E2251A Cサイズ・キャリア上で、マルチプレクサや汎用リレーによって多数の信号を接続することで、本マトリックス・モジュールをより大きなスイッチング・システムの中心部として使用することも可能です。
