Keysight E2261A4チャネルRS-232インタフェースMモジュールは、シングル幅レジスタ・ベースのMモジュールです。本モジュールは高密度両面設計のため、Keysight E2251A CサイズMモジュール・キャリアとの併用のみが推奨されます。Keysight E2261Aは、独立してプログラム可能な4つのRS-232ターミナル・インタフェースを搭載しています。ブレークアウト・ケーブル(オプション001)を使用すれば、これらのインタフェースを4つの異なる位置にルーティングできます。本モジュールをKeysight E2251Aに5ユニット装着すると、合計20のシリアル・インタフェースが使用可能になります。また、内蔵データ・ハンドシェーク機能と、2KB/チャネルの内部データ・バッファにより、通信オーバヘッドを低減できます。
ソフトウェア上の制限により、他の測定機器を制御する場合は、Keysight E2261Aは汎用のRS-232通信モジュールとして機能します。
