Keysight E2251A Cサイズ、1スロット、Mモジュール・キャリアは、複数の小さな機能ブロックを低コストで、追加できるVXI製品です。最大6個のMモジュールがバックプレーンにアクセス可能になり、各モジュールが独立したアドレス空間を持ち、個別動作が可能なので、システム要件に正確に合わせることが可能です。Keysight E1406Aコマンド・モジュールを用いる場合、最大31個のMモジュールを、また組込みコントローラ、Keysight E8491AおよびMXIbusソリューションを用いる場合には、255個のMモジュールを使用できます。
このキャリアは、VXIbusシステム・バックプレーンとMモジュール間の電気的および機械的インタフェースとなります。VXIレジスタ構成、I/O空間およびメモリ空間へのアクセス、割り込み処理も可能です。また、VXI仕様バージョン1.4に完全に適合しています。
