N4220B PCI Express用パケット解析プローブは、PCI Expressバスのパケット・トリガと表示機能を提供します。PCI Express上のデータをフル周波数（2.5+GT/s）で捕捉して、16700シリーズ・ロジック解析システムで上位レベル・フォーマットでの表示が可能です。また8b/10bエンコードおよびスクランブルされたPCI Expressデータをデコードして、パケット・ベースのリストを表示できます。
N4220Bパケット解析プローブでは、種々の定義済みPCI Expressパケットをデコードできるだけでなく、ユーザ定義パケットのセットアップもでき、パケット・レベルでの解析が行えます。
PCI Expressの全トラフィックはロジック・アナライザでタイム・スタンプが付けられるので、マイクロプロセッサのシステム・バス（FSB）、メモリ、インタフェース、シリアルATAなど、他のシステム・バスとの時間相関測定が可能です。
