Keysight 5371Aは、周波数と時間間隔を極めて高速に取り込む変調ドメイン・アナライザです。60を超えるアーミング/トリガ設定の選択と計算、統計、リミット・テストなどの解析機能が統合されています。デッド・タイムの無い連続測定サンプリング技法を採用し、信号を漏れなくかつ素早く捉えて表示します。リセット時間を無くすることで、速度が1,000万測定/秒以上と大幅に速くなっています。周波数レンジは500 MHzです。5371Aは、ジッタ解析、VCOの過渡応答特性評価、周波数変調または位相変調の解析、周波数安定性の測定、コンピュータ周辺装置の解析、周波数ホッピング信号の測定などに有用です。
多くの場合、周波数安定度はアラン・バリアンスで表現されます。アラン・バリアンスおよびその平方根が従来の統計パラメータといっしょに算出され、表示されます。500 MHzまでの周波数をデッドタイム無しで測定し、情報の喪失がありません。測定は多彩で、周波数/時間、時間間隔、±時間間隔、連続時間間隔、プラス/マイナスのパルス幅、立上り/下降時間、デューティ・サイクル、積算、位相、最大振幅が測定できます。さらに、統計・解析機能を内蔵していますので、外部コンピュータなどの助けを必要としません。
