Keysight 11715A AM/FMテスト信号源は、フラット、広帯域、低歪みの振幅/周波数変調RF信号を供給します。本製品は、主に8901A/Bモジュレーション・アナライザ、8902Aメジャリング・レシーバのパフォーマンス・テストおよび調整用の信号源ですが、周波数レンジが適合すれば、高品質の変調テスト用発振器としても使用可能です。
本製品は、低ノイズの電圧制御発振器(VCO)、2ディジタル・ディバイダ、二重平衡ミキサなどから構成されます。VCOは主信号源で、FM出力での周波数レンジは330-470MHz(代表値)です。FM信号は、外部変調信号源をVCOの同調入力へ直接結合することで生成し、位相シフトが小さい非常に広帯域な変調を提供します。このデザインにより、寄生AMも抑えることができます。本製品は、8901A/Bおよび8902Aと併用することで、特定アプリケーション用の校正済み信号源としても使用できます。また、本製品のFM4分周出力によって、米国の商用FM放送帯域88-108MHzをカバーします。
