Installing the software:

1. Unzip the zip file to a folder.
2. Select setup.exe to start installation.

Updating the firmware:

Installing the software:
1. Unzip the zip file to a folder.
2. Double click the setup.exe file to start installing.
3. Follow the instructions to install the program.

Updating the firmware:
1. On the U3606B: Select "U-tMC" as the remote interface connection.
2. Connect the U3606B to the PC using the USB cable.
3. Ensure that you have Agilent IO Libraries Suite installed but do not enable it (exit it at this stage).
4. Go to Start >All Programs >Agilent > U3606B Firmware Update (Version 1.01-1.09-1.05) and start the firmware update.
5. Do not power off the U3606B during the update process. If a "Power cycle the U3606B" message box appears, power cycle the unit and resume the firmware update.
6. Reboot the unit after the firmware upgrade is completed.
