To use these files, load them into the ESG ARB memory. Note that any 3 of the modes will fit into memory at one time, but not all 4.

Once the desired waveform is selected, and the ARB is turned on, the output of the ESG should be modulated with the DAB waveform.

Notes:

  • Each waveform is one DAB frame in length.
  • The waveforms use random data for all of the symbols except the initial NULL symbol. This initial symbol causes brief dropouts of the modulation. The guard intervals are also included.
  • The waveform is filtered with an FIR filter based on the out-of-band spectrum mask from the ETSI Standard, Figure 106.
