KS2201A PathWave Test Sync Executive Software

The KS2201A PathWave Test Sync Executive software is used for precise timing and synchronization of multi-channel measurement systems for quantum, MIMO, beamforming, and other applications. It provides API-based access to system developers utilizing Keysight's Hard Virtual Instrument (HVI) technology.

The 2023C version keeps the 2023/2022 releases licensing requirements on a per instrument basis. This version continues to support M3xxxx PXIe modules using hardware options.              

The 2023C release, like the 2023/2022 releases, does not support the M9031A and requires the M9032A/33A PXIe System Sync Modules for multiple chassis. The new M904x PXIe chassis family including the optional High Performance Reference Clock source and the configuration of clock outputs is supported.

It provides API-based control access to system developers and goes beyond the Hard Virtual Instrument (HVI) technology of the M3601A software. KS2201A is not compatible with M3601A.

In addition to software licensing, note that hardware support is also required for operation of the KS2201A. Along with the most recent firmware updates for each PXI module being controlled by the KS2201A, Keysight M3xxx-series PXI modules require the -HV1 firmware option, while for other products the -HV2 firmware options is required.
