Since launching as an independent public company in November 2014, we have executed our strategy to transform Keysight for growth, which included shifting to a solution-centric go-to-market approach, developing for customers’ many industry-first innovations in key segments of the market, and strengthening our portfolio through acquisitions. With our first-to-market advantage and end-toend portfolio of solutions, including services, we are well-aligned with growing market trends where customers are investing in next generation technologies such as 5G, automotive, Internet of Things (IoT), and data centers.

To meet our commitments for revenue growth, profitability, and shareholder value, Keysight focuses on maximizing business contributions. Fiscal year 2018 was a breakthrough year for the company, with revenue growth and profitability reaching new levels. During the year, we continued to make progress on key growth initiatives, including 5G, automotive and energy, software, and services, by delivering first-tomarket solutions. We also completed the integration of the Ixia acquisition into our company operations. Our largest research and development and manufacturing facilities worldwide are located in California, Colorado, and Texas in the U.S., and in China, India, Japan, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Spain, Finland, and Romania.

Material CSR Aspects

Our CSR strategy is driven by aspects identified as important, or material, by key stakeholders. Utilizing our KLM, we engaged stakeholders in fiscal year 2018 to conduct an updated review of our CSR material aspects, which were first defined in fiscal year 2015. The 2018 assessment helped Keysight identify and understand trends and changes in environmental and social risks, key stakeholder expectations, as well as strategic opportunities for the business. As part of this materiality assessment, Keysight contracted with a third-party specialist to conduct:

• Peer analyses of similar companies to understand where Keysight stands globally in its CSR efforts

• Internal functional and executive stakeholder interviews across global business functions, including investor relations, order fulfillment, global sales, corporate services, human resources, legal and compliance, information technology, workplace solutions, product innovation and quality, and business industry groups

• External stakeholder interviews representing customers, investors, industry

associations, and non-governmental organizations to identify common themes in priorities and potential performance improvement trends in corporate citizenship Following this work, a cross-functional Keysight team reviewed and finalized the list of material social responsibility aspects shown below—aligned to Keysight’s corporate value chain.
