Conformance to Standards
There are two standards bodies and several data rates within Automotive Ethernet. IEEE describes what should be tested, and OPEN Alliance gives more details on how it should be tested. The data rates include 10BASE-T1S, 100BASE-T1, IEEE1000BASE-T1, and the multi-gig rates of 2.5G, 5G, and 10GBASE-T1. Keysight offers an easy-to-use test platform that allows you to validate all of these, including the MDI mode conversion loss and Common Mode emission tests set by OPEN Alliance Automotive Ethernet TC8 ECU test specifications.
