W1484BP SystemVue RF Impairment Module

The W1484BP SystemVue RF Impairment Module Bundle allows system engineers and algorithm developers using MATLAB® to unlock the premiere RF impairment modelling capabilities of SystemVue without leaving the MATLAB environment. It includes SystemVue’s data flow simulator and RF_Link which allows users to bring RF impairments from a pre-designed workspace into a time domain co-simulation with MATLAB.

Digital developers and baseband system architects have long relied on the flexibility of MATLAB as a design tool. PathWave System Design (SystemVue) has supported MATLAB scripting natively for years, but what happens when the RF Architecture teams needs to pass their system-level IP to a group that is using a MATLAB design flow? In the past, these system integration teams would need to create copies of the RF system functions already implemented in PathWave System Design inside their MATLAB code. But with the 2020 release of PathWave System Design, these RF system architects can provide their workspaces directly to MATLAB users to run the designs from within the MATLAB environment.

Solution Details

The Baseband Link in PathWave System Design (SystemVue) 2020 connects RF system IP with MATLAB users, allowing them to call existing workspaces directly from within their MATLAB code.

RF Architecture Design in PathWave System Design (SystemVue)

Product Information

PathWave System Design (SystemVue) users can add the Baseband Link to their existing license configuration. Using this license allows MATLAB-based system design teams to run SystemVue without consuming the core licenses used by RF System designers. This provides a cost-effective way to add the RF simulation capabilities of SystemVue to existing MATLAB design flows.
