Introduces the temperature ranges of interest for quantum developers, and discusses the various technologies available to reach those temperatures. It also reviews the anatomy of a cryostat and its components.

Lesson 2 - Interfacing to a device in a milli-Kelvin cryostat

Shows how to operate a real cryostat in a laboratory environment and how to load a device without wire bonding or complicated packaging techniques. It also covers some basic troubleshooting and issues that are commonly encountered by new cryogenics users.
