The CV4284 IBASIC program runs on the Keysight 4155C/4156C Semiconductor Parameter Analyzers and does not require any additional computers or instruments in order to function. The program is designed to work in conjunction with the Keysight E5250A Low Leakage Switch Mainframe and the Keysight 4284A LCR Meter, but these instruments are not required in order to operate the program.

The CV4284 program has the following three main functions:

  1. Control the 4284A from the 4155C/4156C front panel in order to make CV sweeps and display the measurement results on the front panel of the 4155C/4156C
  2. Perform open/shorts calibration on the 4284A
  3. Calculate CMOS device parameters from CV curves
