E4991A RF Impedance/Material Analyzer Option 007 Program Update
Instructions for Program Update
- Left-click on the link "E4991A Option 007 Update" shown below and save the file (CompCalc.exe) to a temporary directory (e.g. C:TEMP) on your computer's hard drive.
- Copy the file (CompCalc.exe) to a floppy disk.
- Update the program by using the floppy disk and the instruction "E4991A Option 007 Update Procedure" available below.
Known issue for the E4991A Option 007 Temperature Characteristic Test Kit*1 (Fixed)
The temperature drift compensation function of the E4991A option 007 (Temperature Characteristic Test Kit) does not work properly when "Permeability" is selected as the "Material Type" setting*2.
*1: Only the E4991A that has the option 002 (Material measurement firmware) along with the option 007 is affected by this issue. For the E4991A that doesn't have the option 002, the temperature drift compensation function works properly.
*2: When the "Material Type" setting is "Impedance" or "Permittivity", the temperature drift compensation function work properly.
