Keysight E6392A/B Setting Utility Software

This Utility Software is only applicable for the Keysight E6392A/B GSM MS Test Set.

If you own an E6392A/B, you can download the free utility software.

This "Keysight E6392 Setting Utility" is a Sample Program written in Microsoft Visual Basic® 6.0. This program allows you to save and load all the settings of the E6392A/B to Windows PC by using the RS-232C communication port.

When you want to distribute your settings or test parameters of the E6392A/B, it's a good idea to use this program. You can create your setting file, then send it through the Internet to anywhere, anyone you want to share.

If you have Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, you can download the source code of this program as well.

Operating Environment for the Setting Utility

Running the "Keysight E6392 Setting Utility" requires the following environment:

Communications cable: An RS-232C cross cable to which Keysight Technologies recommends the Keysight 34398A RS-232 Cable Kit.

PC: A PC/AT compatible machine with 32 or more Mbytes memory where a processor that performs equal to or better than the Pentium® is mounted on the CPU.

Operating system: Windows® 95/NT 4.0

(Keysight Technologies has tested only on the English version)

Instructions for Downloading the "Keysight E6392 Setting Utility"

1. Create a folder on your hard drive for the "Keysight E6392 Setting Utility".

2. Activate the hyperlink to the "Setting Utility, 6392set2.exe" provided below.

3. When the download window appears, type in the appropriate path name of the folder you created on your hard drive, and press the save button.

Opening the file

1. Start the Windows Explorer.

2. Open the folder you created and double click the file you downloaded. This will unpack the self-extracting archive into your directory.

3. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the README.txt to set up the "Keysight E6392 Setting Utility".
