Installing the latest instrument software version is encouraged to guarantee your EXF instrument compatibility and performance.

  • Installing instrument software into an EXF is similar to installing software on a Microsoft Windows based PC.

  • You must log into the EXF Administrator account.  Refer to the EXF Update Instructions link below for details.

  • With a LAN connection:

    1. Download the instrument software file onto the instrument
    2. Execute the installer package to begin updating your EXF instrument software

  • Without a LAN connection:

    1. Download the instrument software file directly to your local PC
    2. Transfer the instrument software file to a USB storage device
    3. Plug in the USB storage device into your EXF
    4. Execute the installer package to begin updating your EXF instrument software
