SystemVue is a focused electronic design automation (EDA) environment for electronic system-level (ESL) design. It enables system architects and algorithm developers to innovate the physical layer (PHY) of wireless and aerospace/defense communications systems.

SystemVue is integrated with several standalone software applications, listed below. Each provides SystemVue with additional capability in a specific area of expertise, and many are free of charge. Instrument connectivity and visualization

• Keysight I/O Libraries (no charge) – basic instrument drivers and connectivity
• Keysight Command Expert (no charge) – easier instrument programming
• Keysight N1010A FlexDCA Express (no charge) – oscilloscope/digital comms visualization
• Keysight 89600 VSA (free 30-day trial) – communications signal analysis and visualization
• Keysight Signal Studio (licensed) – Download the Keysight licensing software needed to simulate encrypted waveform files (.WFM) using SystemVue 2013.01 or later. Signal Studio options 7NP/7FP enable export of these WFM files, which require this licensing infrastructure to be installed on that PC host machine.

Algorithm modeling

• Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 – World’s leading C++ IDE, with coordinated debugging in SystemVue (For SystemVue 2017 and later releases)
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 – World’s leading C++ IDE, with coordinated debugging in SystemVue (For SV 2016.08 and later releases)
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 – World’s leading C++ IDE, with coordinated debugging in SystemVue (For SV 2015.01 and later releases)
• The MathWorks MATLAB (license required) – most complete .m modeling language support

FPGA design & verification

• Aldec Riviera-PRO or later (license required) – HDL co-simulation
• Mentor Questa/ModelSim (license required) – HDL co-simulation
• Altera Quartus II – provides HDL synthesis tools that complement SystemVue W1717 code generation
• Xilinx ISE WebPACK (no charge) – provides HDL synthesis tools that complement SystemVue W1717 code generation
