Description
PathWave Device Modeling 2022 Update 1.0 features new and upgraded examples for GaN RF Modeling with the ASM-HEMT model. The thermal resistance RTH and temperature scaling parameters are derived by pulsed IV and static data. All ASM-HEMT examples now support the latest Compact Modeling Council (CMC) version 101.2.

A breakthrough technology called Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Model Generator now provides the ability to create nonlinear models from measured I-V and C-V or S-parameters data. The tool uses Keysight’s proprietary Machine Learning (ML) technology to train the ANN on I(V) and derivative data such as Q(V). Keysight ANN enables rapid model generation to support the fastest possible device or circuit evaluations in the early design phases where models are currently not available or simply not accurate enough.

A new advanced spice netlist parser is available for HSPICE netlists used in conjunction with Synopsys’ HSPICE or Keysight’s ADS simulators. This new parser allows IC-CAP to understand parameters, nodes, and other information in the Circuit page using a richer set of HSPICE language features.
