Keysight’s N1010A FlexDCA is the software that runs Keysight’s digital communication analyzer (DCA) family of sampling oscilloscopes (also known as equivalent-time oscilloscopes). A DCA is an instrument that helps visualize and analyze the analog properties of high-speed signals such as those used in wireline telecom and data center links.
FlexDCA is installed at the factory on DCA-X mainframes but can also be installed on a PC to control a DCA-M or remotely control a DCA-X.

The Optical Modulation Generator Software 81195A introduces a new approach to optical test. Combined with the M8195A AWG it speeds up your test by a factor of up to 100 with its unique real-time mode. This helps design engineers of long-haul, metro and data-center interconnect coherent optical transmission applications to maximize test efficiency and thus reduce development time and cost.
The 81195A generates dual-I/Q signals for polarization-multiplexed coherent signal transmission test with defined signal parameters and optical signal properties. In conjunction with the M8195A 4-channel AWG it generates transmission signals with up to 32 GBaud and up to 8 GSym per channel using a single M8195A module in real-time encoding mode (option RSP).
The option OSP allows the user to deterministically emulate optical signal properties and receiver stress conditions (incl. phase noise, polarization rotation, and polarization mode dispersion) on the M8195A, the M8196A, or the M8194A AWG. In combination with option RSP, the parameters of these signal properties can be changed on the fly on the M8195A, without the need to download a new waveform.

The Keysight 14565B device characterization software is designed for easy evaluation of portable battery powered device (like 3G handsets, PDA, WLAN, and Bluetooth™ enable devices) current profiles to ensure long operating life of devices.
This software provides a graphical user interface to easily control the Keysight 66300 series mobile communications DC sources and measures device current draw. Current drain analysis allows you to characterize current drawn from a battery and make tradeoffs in design that impact the current drain and battery life. With current drain analysis, you can log current drain measurements for up to 1,000 hours and perform statistical CCDF analysis.
The 14565B can be controlled from other programs and programming languages (such as the Keysight Interactive Functional Test software, Wireless Test Manager, NI LabVIEW1, Keysight VEE, Microsoft® Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel and others) to automate and synchronize current drain measurements with other DUT stimulus and activity, such as RF and digital control and activities. The 14565B software with test automation saves valuable resource and time by automating time consuming, repetitive tasks associated with characterizing battery current drains during real world operation: video streaming, music downloads, text messaging.
14565B test steps are now integrated into Interactive Functional Test software (N5972A) and Wireless Test manager versions E6567C, E6568C, N5882A, N5884A, N6422C, N6423C.
