HDMI N5998A Software Version 1.45.0000
The software release 1.45.0000 is the official release for HDMI 1.4a support. Version 1.45.0000 can be used for operation of the N5998A for 1.3 or 1.4a compliance and testing. It can be installed on all N5998A units for which one of the following condition is true
- The firmware update has been implemented as described in Service Note 3 (N5998-03).
In all other cases the hardware is not compatible with software release 1.45.0000. Software release 1.39.1003 must be used instead. Please contact your local service center to get your N5998A upgraded to Service Note 3 (N5998-03).

HDMI N5998A Software Version 1.39.1003
The software patch release 1.39.1003 is a patch build to 1.3.1. Version 1.39.1003 can be used for operation of the N5998A for 1.3 compliance and testing. It can be installed on all N5998A units for which one of the following conditions is true
- The Serial Number is equal to or larger than DE47300189
- OR the hardware modifications described in Service Note N5998A-02 have been implemented.
In all other cases the hardware is not compatible with software release 1.39.1003. Please contact your local service center to get your N5998A upgraded to Service Note 2 (N5998-02).
