WaveBee Touch AV1021B is a rugged, all-in-one Mobile V2X Analysis and Validation System designed to support the deployment, testing, diagnostics, and validation of connected vehicle and intelligent transportation infrastructure. The portable standalone platform enables engineers, transportation authorities, infrastructure operators, automotive OEMs, and system integrators to capture, decode, visualize, record, and analyze V2X communications directly in real-world environments without the need for external onboard units (OBUs), laptops, or additional test equipment.

 

Supporting both DSRC (IEEE 802.11p) and Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X PC5 sidelink) technologies, WaveBee Touch provides a common validation platform across global V2X ecosystems. The solution supports major V2X messaging standards, including SAE, ETSI, and C-SAE, allowing users to validate deployments in North America, Europe, China, Japan, Korea, India, the United Kingdom, and Australia/New Zealand.

 

WaveBee Touch simplifies V2X testing through an intuitive user interface that presents vehicle-to-everything communications on interactive maps, message views, diagnostic screens, and analysis dashboards. Engineers can quickly investigate message exchanges, monitor system performance, and verify interoperability without requiring advanced programming skills. The platform integrates GNSS and V2X antennas for immediate deployment while supporting optional external antennas to improve reception and measurement reliability in challenging environments such as vehicle cabins, roadside installations, indoor locations, or adverse weather conditions.

 

The system offers three powerful operating modes. Live mode enables real-time monitoring and analysis of over-the-air V2X communications. Record mode captures all received traffic while simultaneously displaying live information, allowing engineers to conduct detailed post-processing and export data in PCAP format. Playback mode supports review and analysis of recorded sessions, including PCAP files generated by third-party systems, helping users perform troubleshooting, performance investigations, and interoperability assessments both in the field and in the lab.

 

WaveBee Touch is ideal for a wide range of V2X applications, including research and development, V2X pilot projects, traffic management systems, smart intersection validation, roadside unit (RSU) verification, connected vehicle (OBU) testing, infrastructure deployment validation, conformance and interoperability testing, operational maintenance, and troubleshooting. The platform also supports emerging connected mobility use cases such as V2X tolling and future Vehicle-to-Network (V2N) service validation.

 

By supporting a broad range of V2X messages including BSM, MAP, SPAT, TIM, SDSM, and planned next-generation messages such as TAM, TUM, and TUM_ACK, WaveBee Touch helps accelerate validation of smart transportation systems and connected mobility services. Users can verify applications such as traffic signal priority, road hazard warnings, smart intersections, toll collection systems, and cooperative transportation infrastructure while improving deployment readiness and interoperability across vendors and ecosystems.

 

Built as a compact, field-ready tablet, WaveBee Touch combines visualization, recording, playback, and analysis capabilities in a single device. The rugged platform features a daylight-readable 10.1-inch display, IP65 protection, support for challenging environmental conditions, integrated wireless connectivity, and flexible antenna options.
