The Diode Pumped Solid State Fault Injection Laser is a source of light produced by a solid-state laser which is charged by a pumping light emitting diode. After charging (~ 1 ms) the Diode Pumped Solid State Fault Injection Laser can generate short light pulses (< 4 ns) with high intensity (> 20 µJ).
The Diode Pumped Solid State Fault Injection Laser is attached to the Diode Laser Station or Fault Injection Laser System and operated for optical fault injection (FI) attacks on semiconductors.
