When to Update

  • Install this update whenever using a version of M8070B software specified in the Prerequisites.
  • If you downgrade M8070B software to a version listed in the Prerequisites, this update should be performed.

  • Click the "Download" button and save the zip file to a temporary folder on your host computer that runs the M8070B software.
    NOTE: This update requires the Windows 10 operating system.

Como Instalar

 

  1. If you are upgrading the M8070B software from version 9.5.510.10 (or earlier), uninstall M8054A (if installed) and then upgrade the M8070B software to at least version 9.5.560.12.
  2. Verify the M8070B software version you want to use is installed before installing the CCL licensing update.
  3. Make sure no Keysight application software is running when installing this update. This includes the M8070B software and M8070B compliance applications.
  4. Right-click the downloaded zip file and extract the files to the temporary folder.
  5. In the extracted files, right-click the "Install-Ccl-Upgrade.cmd" file or the "Install-Ccl-Upgrade.ps1" file and choose "Run as administrator" (or some other option for running with elevated privileges). The cmd file will execute in a Command Prompt window run as administrator, or the ps1 file will execute in a PowerShell window run as administrator. These scripts perform the same actions, and either one can be used.
  6. If you uninstall and then install M8070B software version below 9.5.510.10, then you need to install it again.

To verify the installation:

  1. In the Windows Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, and then Uninstall a Program.
  2. Verify the Keysight License Manager version is 5.5.1.81.
  3. Verify the Keysight License Service version is 5.5.1.81.
  4. Close the Control Panel.
  5. Verify that the M8070B software application starts.
