MACOM offers non-linear, scalable GaN HEMT, GaAs pHEMT, and GaAs mHEMT models and full PDKs for Keysight’s Advanced Design System (ADS).
MACOM North Carolina Semiconductor Center GaN-based HEMTs
MACOM North Carolina Semiconductor Center GaN HEMT MMIC processes feature high-power density (up to 9 Watts/mm) transistors, slot vias, high reliability up to 275ºC operating junction temperatures, and scalable unit cells (1 to 8mm/Cell). The value of such MMICs is more power bandwidth and higher efficiency within a smaller footprint compared to other MMIC technologies.

MACOM European Semiconductor Center (ESC) provides ADS PDKs
MACOM’s European Semiconductor Center in Limeil- Brévannes, France, has a 40+ year heritage in material science, III-V semiconductor wafer processing and MMIC design. Its differentiated Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) compound semiconductor manufacturing capabilities include multiple semiconductor processes. The MACOM European Semiconductor Center’s high-performance millimeter wave technologies, including GaAs pHEMT, GaAs mHEMT and GaN HEMT, are in full production. These services enable cut-off frequencies as high as 400 GHz via the mHEMT technology.
