Pro PNT Emulator Hardware features the Keysight (formerly Spirent) PNT X platform.
Mission-critical PNT systems must perform reliably under jamming, spoofing, and multipath conditions. Keysight Pro PNT emulator hardware generates all global navigation satellite system (GNSS) constellations, RF threats, and alternative signals from a single software-defined architecture. The PNT X delivers up to 640 signal channels for receiver testing and navigation warfare (NAVWAR) evaluation. The PNT X CRPA Test System adds multiple signal generators and an RF combiner matrix for phase-aligned wavefront simulation of 4 to 16+ element arrays. Both scale through multi-chassis expansion for custom requirements.
Generate all GNSS constellations alongside embedded jamming, spoofing, and custom I/Q waveforms in a single scenario, covering L-band and S-band frequencies with up-to-date interface control documents.
Scale from single-chassis receiver testing to multi-chassis wavefront simulation for controlled radiation pattern antenna (CRPA) systems — supporting beamforming, null steering, and STAP evaluation starting at 4 elements.
Maintain 0.3 mm RMS pseudorange accuracy across the full dynamics envelope with a 2 kHz system iteration rate and 2 ms hardware-in-the-loop latency — from missile trajectories to fast-spinning vehicles.
Expand capacity by adding signal generators and SDR cards under the control of a single SimGEN scenario. Keysight tailors multi-chassis rack solutions, combiner matrices, and zoned chamber configurations to your specific test requirements.

PNT X CRPA Test System for anti-jam antenna testing with GNSS wavefront simulation. For NAVWAR and CRPA development, integration, and validation.
The PNT X CRPA Test System is a complete COTS solution that combines multiple PNT X signal generators, an RF combiner matrix, and the SimGEN software suite to generate phase-aligned global navigation satellite system (GNSS) wavefronts for conducted and over-the-air testing of controlled reception pattern antenna (CRPA) systems — including beamforming, null steering, and space-time adaptive processing (STAP) evaluation.
CRPAs require rigorous testing for mission-critical applications. Accurate evaluation demands precise GNSS signal generation, phase alignment, and dynamic high-density jamming and spoofing threat representation. Comprehensive testing validates performance in extreme corner cases, accelerates development, and ensures systems can be trusted in operational environments.

The PNT X is a standalone simulation system comprising a signal generator and a C50 X host controller. It delivers up to 640 independent signal channels per chassis and is suited for conducted GNSS receiver testing, navigation warfare evaluation, and LEO PNT simulation. The PNT X CRPA Test System combines multiple PNT X signal generators with an RF combiner matrix to deliver phase-aligned wavefronts across 4 to 16 or more antenna elements — enabling both conducted and over-the-air testing of CRPA systems.
Both products support GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, IRNSS, and SBAS across L-band frequencies. The PNT X also supports S-band RF generation for regional constellations and novel PNT applications. Authorized testing options are available for GPS M-Code, Galileo PRS, and other classified signals.
Yes. Each PNT X signal generator can be expanded with additional software-defined radio (SDR) cards up to a maximum of 10 per chassis. Multiple signal generators can operate under a single SimGEN scenario for applications requiring more than two combined RF outputs or higher channel counts. Keysight also offers tailored rack solutions, signal distribution units, and multi-chassis combiner configurations for extreme-performance custom requirements.
The PNT X generates embedded L-band interference alongside GNSS signals — supporting continuous wave, FM, AM, PM, AWGN, BPSK, chirp, and matched spectrum waveforms. High-power rear-panel RF outputs deliver signals at +50 dB above nominal for demanding jammer-to-signal ratio scenarios. Up to four independent spoofers per scenario enable evaluation of meaconing, code/carrier attacks, and navigation data manipulation.
The CRPA Test System supports conducted testing — where signals route directly to the antenna electronics via coaxial cable — and over-the-air testing in anechoic chamber environments, including zoned chamber configurations. Conducted testing provides repeatable, controlled conditions for receiver algorithm development. Zoned chamber testing adds realistic satellite orbital motion and angle-of-arrival fidelity for full-system CRPA validation.
The PNT X incorporates a secure-by-design architecture that addresses CAT I and CAT II Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements. It includes Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 secure boot and an optional self-encrypting FIPS-compliant solid-state drive for data-at-rest protection. The system is calibrated to ISO/IEC 17025 at time of delivery with a 12-month recommended recalibration interval.
