What's new in version 2.0?
- We provide supported client libraries for C# and TypeScript.
- Added support for OpenAPI to allow generating clients for other programming languages.
- Switch to use the new OpenTAP Annotation system to alleviate differences in property editing between the OpenTAP Editor and the REST-API.
- Simplification of advanced endpoints.
What changed in version 2.0?
- Using the REST-API Plugin is now significantly simpler. Previously, lots of boilerplate code was needed to deal with endpoints and parsing JSON responses. In version 2.0, with the help of OpenAPI, that is all abstracted into a user friendly and strongly typed client library. To support this, all endpoints and their JSON content have changed; however, concepts remain the same.
- "Proxy mode" has been renamed to "SessionManager mode" and the proxy/redirect functionality of Session endpoints through the Proxy/SessionManager has been removed.
