14360A System Control Tools

This is a power software tool that greatly simplifies the programming and control of multiple E4360 SASs. It consists of three components: the Software Driver, the Configuration Wizard, and the Server Control with WebGUI. The Keysight 14360A is shipped standard with every E4360A SAS mainframe – free of charge.

Software Driver
The 14360 software driver interfaces with the user’s test application and provides a single function call to control up to 100 E4360 SAS outputs (50 mainframes). It provides support for configuration, measurement, paralleling, and status functionality. Example: set Voltage/Current levels, Protection Levels/delay/clear, Measure - Voltage/Current, SAS mode settings (Isc, Voc, Imp,Vmp), SAS List/Table Setup.

Configuration Wizard
The configuration wizard is a graphical user interface that let’s you easily configure many E4360A SAS module without writing a single line of code. It is used to create a configuration file that is used by the software driver.

Server Control
The server control includes a remote procedure call (RPC) server and web GUI. The RPC server enables a remote PC to communicate with the SAS system PC. This is useful when the user’s application PC is located away from the SAS system. All E4360 SAS in the system can be remotely accessed and controlled using “remote function/procedure calls”.

The web monitor allows you to remotely monitor your system of E4360s. From any web browser, you can view the overall driver system status, view system (of SAS) layout, view module measurement and status, and more.

Driver Requirements
The 14360A System Control Tools software package is supported by programming languages or applications that can use COM component for communication. The following programming environments and hardware are presently supported:

• Windows 7, 8 and 10
• Any COM compatible programming language such as: C++, VB, LabView, and .NET languages such as C#, VB.net
• Microsoft .Net runtime 2.0
• Visa and TCP/IP sockets connections
• E4360A SAS power supplies
