The N4980A Multi-Instrument BERT software is a graphical user interface that controls multiple instruments for performing a series of BER measurements.
The Keysight N4980A multi-instrument BERT software provides the ability to control multiple instruments through a rich Windows®-based graphical user interface (GUI). Bit error rate measurements are simple to set up with the intuitive control screens. The software is ideal for setting up and performing parallel BER measurements and jitter tolerance testing (N4980A-JTS) in multi-lane and SERDES devices. You can also create your own patterns using the powerful editing tools built into the pattern editor to meet your unique requirements.
The base software is available free of charge (registration required for download). The N4980A-JTS jitter tolerance measurement package is an option enabled by a software key.

The M8070EDAB Error Distribution Analysis package offers features like burst mechanism detection and analysis, frame loss ratio estimation and error mapping.
For instance, you can easily estimate your FEC decoder margin or find the root cause of systematic errors by exploring the error map. The plugin also supports the use of real-time scopes as error detector.

The Keysight M8091BSCA is an electrical receiver test application designed to assist and simplify the stress signal calibration. You can use this solution to test the inputs of IEEE 802.3bs, 200GAUI-4, and 400GAUI-8 PAM4 capable hosts and modules, chip-to-chip (C2C), as well as the backplane (KR) and copper cable (CR) interfaces. This product minimizes user interaction and automatically performs the necessary calibration routines and conformance testing by remote control. This solution supports a wide range of Keysight instrument.
The test application provide a list of all addressable calibrations and conformance tests according to their respective references under the IEEE 802.3bs standard. Detailed connection diagrams and instructions are provided by the test application when each calibration or test is being selected.

The M80885RCA DDR5 Receiver Test Application simplifies stress signal calibration used for testing the inputs of DDR5 SDRAM devices including DIMM, DRAM, RCD, and Buffer devices at the physical layer to ensure minimum required performance and interoperability. It performs all required calibration routines and conformance testing automatically by controlling all required instruments. Additionally, it automatically programs the different type of DUTs into the appropriate test mode.
The test application provides the same user interface as most of Keysight's transmitter test applications. When performing setup changes, the user is guided by instructions and diagrams to minimize errors.
The solution consists of several test instruments and fixtures, such as a Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT),
Oscilloscope, Compliance Test Card, and Device Test Card operating together with the M80885RCA software package.
