B2900B / B2900BL Series Precision Source/Measure Unit
Get Rapid and Accurate Measurement Results The Keysight B2900B/BL Series Precision Source/Measure Units are compact and cost-effective benchtop Source/Measure Units (SMUs) with the capability to source and measure both voltage and current. These capabilities make the B2900B/BL Series SMU ideal for a wide variety of IV (current versus voltage) measurement tasks that require both high resolution and accuracy.
Application Notes
The Parametric Measurement
What is a parametric test? The question as to what constitutes parametric testing is an interesting one and is possibly open to some debate. Nevertheless, in general parametric testing involves the electrical testing and characterization of four main types of semiconductor devices: resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors. This is not to say that parametric tests never involve the testing of other device types; however, the vast majority of parametric test structures can be classified into one of these categories or considered to be a combination of these categories.

Quick DC and Transient Evaluation of DC-DC Converter
It is easy to estimate load regulation by measuring the output voltage drift while sweeping the output load current. The load transient response can be monitored by measuring the output voltage transient when a pulsed current load is applied.
