The Keysight i7090 can measure up to 60V on a device under test (DUT) board; most of the time, these DUT boards only require less than 25V. However, depending on the circumstances, some boards might require as high as 48V. It is important to discharge the voltage on the DUT after powering off to protect the pin cad from damage caused by the excessive power residue.
Due to the i7090 can only directly discharge up to 25V, we have devised a solution that involves lowering the voltages of the DUT boards that need higher voltages to 25V before letting the i7090 safely discharge the DUT.
