Virtual Infrastructure Test
Virtualization is a core principle of the O-RAN Alliance. Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) is key to implementation of the O-RAN architecture as well as other advanced 5G capabilities, including network slicing and mobile edge computing (MEC). Operators must ensure accurate dimensioning and configuration of the NFV Infrastructure (NFVi) in order to sustain the workloads required by the Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) or Cloud Native Network Functions (CNFs) that run on it.
