The W4636A DDR4 x16 – 2 wing BGA interposer for 96 ball DDR4 DRAM is designed for data rates up to and including 2.4 Gb/s. The W4636A probes all ADD/CMD/CNTRL and partial DQ/DQS, and it is designed for minimal KOV for space limited systems under test. The W4636A is the least expensive DDR4 BGA interposer for a logic analyzer.

For users who require access to all ADD/CMD/DQ/DQS at data rates over 2400Mb/s, the W4633A x4/x8 DDR4 BGA interposer and W4631A x16 DDR4 BGA interposers capture all ADD/CMD/DQ/DQS signals and are designed to capture data rates up to and including 3.2 Gb/s.

The W4643A DDR4 2-wing BGA interposer for DDR4 x4/x8 BGA DRAM probing takes full advantage of the quad sample state mode on the U4164A. The W4643A is the smallest BGA interposers for DDR4 x4/x8 DRAM capable of capturing simultaneous read and write traffic at data rates exceeding 3.2 Gb/s. U4208A and U4209A probe/cables connect any W4640A Series DDR4 BGA interposer directly into the U4164A logic analyzer module from 61-pin high density zero insertion force (ZIF) connectors that attach to the W4640A Series BGA interposer wings.

The W4643A DDR4 x4/x8 BGA interposer allows signal access to the DDR4 signals critical to your debug and validation effort through a U4164A logic analyzer. The probe works in existing designs and eliminates the need for up-front planning or redesign. The probe connects directly to the balls of the DRAM or can be installed with DDR4 78 ball riser (included) or an optional 3rd party socket (not provided) enabling operation and acquisition of high-speed DDR4 signals.

The W3301A LPDDR3 rigid BGA interposer for LPDDR3 178-ball DRAM enables capture of simultaneous read and write traffic at data rates in excess of 1866 Mb/s. E5406A Soft Touch probes and U4201A cables connect the W3301A LPDDR3 BGA interposer into the U4164A logic analyzer module. The W3301A LPDDR3 178-ball rigid BGA interposer allows signal access to the LPDDR3 signals critical to your debug and validation effort through a U4164A logic analyzer. The probe works in existing designs and eliminates the need for up-front planning or redesign. The U4206A is a direct-connect probe/cable with a standard soft touch pro connector at one end that routes to four 160-pin connectors that plug into the front panel connectors of a U4164A logic analyzer module. The U4206A is designed to be used with either the quad state mode or ¼ channel 10 GHz timing mode of the U4164A logic analyzer module. For use in quad state mode only, the U4206A includes two flying leads to connect additional clock qualifier signals into the clock inputs on Pods 3 and 7. Please refer to the U4164A installation guide for specific details on the operation of the U4164A quad sample state or ¼ channel 10 GHz timing modes of operation.

The U4209A probe/cable has a 61-pin ZIF probe connector on one end of the cable and two 160-pin connectors that connect into the front panel of a U4164A logic analyzer module on the other end of the cable. The U4208=9A is designed to connect from the right wing of a W4640A Series DDR4 BGA interposer directly into the U4164A logic analyzer. The U4164A logic analyzer will be in normal state mode for the address and command signal capture and in quad sample state mode for the data signal capture. Default configurations for the W4640A Series DDR4 BGA interposers and U4208A/09A probe/cables are included at no charge in the standard download package of the B4661A memory analysis software.

The U4208A probe/cable has a 61-pin ZIF probe connector on one end of the cable and two 160-pin connectors that connect into the front panel of a U4164A logic analyzer module on the other end of the cable. The U4208A is designed to connect from the left wing of a W4640A Series DDR4 BGA interposer directly into the U4164A logic analyzer. The U4164A logic analyzer will be in normal state mode for the address and command signal capture and in quad sample state mode for the data signal capture. Default configurations for the W4640A Series DDR4 BGA interposers and U4208A/09A probe/cables are included at no charge in the standard download package of the B4661A memory analysis software.

The Keysight E5380B Mictor probe provides a convenient and reliable connection to your target through a Mictor connector designed into your target. Route your signals of interest to the location containing the Mictor connector and when you are ready to measure these signals simply plug-in the Mictor probe. These probes can be used with a support shroud in environments where accidental unplugging of the probe is a concern. This probe can be used with any Keysight logic analyzer with a 90-pin cable connector.
