Emulate Different Electric Vehicle Models

Test EVSE designs against different electric vehicle models using a tester to emulate the EV.

Electric vehicles (EVs) and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) must conform to various global standards for operational safety and performance. With shorter EV design and development cycles and the ramp-up of global charging infrastructure, ensuring EV and EVSE compatibility is critical for time-to-market success.

When validating the performance of your EVSE, it is impractical to test it against all the EV models on the market. Instead of using real electric vehicles, you can use a test system to emulate the EV, configure it for various specifications, and connect it to your EVSE under test.

You can now test all different AC and DC charging interfaces automatically. The test system can also test communication protocols between a real EV and a charging station.
