SimXTRACT performs signal decomposition on scenarios captured on record & playback devices. This decomposed environment is then converted into fully controllable simulation scenarios for Spirent simulators, enabling repeatable, high-fidelity testing.

Signal decomposition and analysis

  • Breaks down recorded IQ data into discrete ray paths — line-of-sight and multipath — with Doppler offset, power level, and angle of arrival (AoA) metadata
  • Supports GPS (L1, L2C, L5) and Galileo (E1, E5a, E5b, E6); GLONASS, BeiDou, and Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) support coming soon
  • Enables analysis of multipath, code error, power, and Angle of Arrival (AoA)
  • Reduces field recording data size from terabytes to megabytes for storage and sharing

Test workflow and integration

  • Outputs .scn test files compatible with Keysight PNT simulators (PNT X, GSS7000, PNT Xe)
