New Display on N6700 Series and E4360 Series Power Supplies
The following Keysight power supply models now ship with a new, high-contrast display.
N6700B, N6701A, N6702A, N6710B, N6711A, N6712A
E4360A, E4366A, E4367A, E4368A
The new display provides better viewing from oblique angles.
New Turn-on Sequence for N5700 Series and N8700 Series
Keysight N5700-series and N8700-series power supplies manufactured starting in 2014 have a different turn-on characteristic than previous units. On the newer units, the built-in operating system takes approximately 30 seconds to boot up. The turn-on sequence consists of a series of rolling 8's, as shown below:
Note that if a unit has been programmed to power-up in Auto-Restart mode, the output may either be ON or OFF, according to its last setting.
