This high-performance, four-slot PXIe embedded controller module offers Gen 3 performance and a Windows 10 operating system. It is designed for high-performance and complex, multi-chassis systems. It is also well-suited for secure environments due to its front panel and removable solid-state drive.

The embedded controller is built upon an Intel 6-Core i7-9850HE processor with 12 threads and is an excellent choice for complex applications requiring high computing power memory options up to a total of 64 GB, DisplayPort, USB, LAN, GPIB, and Thunderbolt connections, and removable SSD on the front panel are a few of the valuable features this controller has to offer.

The M1749B is the only Remote Radio Head supporting bi-directional testing at five mmWave frequency bands with one hardware set. Two RF ports support Tx and Rx verification. Confidently test over the air at mmWave frequencies in the 24, 28, 39, 40 GHz, and 47 GHz bands using one M1749B remote radio head (RRH). Verify Tx and Rx performance of 5G RFFEs, base stations, chipsets, and devices using stimulus and analysis provided by one of several Keysight platforms. M1749B delivers an additional +3 dBm power compared to M1749A.

The Keysight E7770A common interface unit (CIU) provides a bidirectional intermediate frequency (IF) interface to the device under test (DUT) by up- or down-converting a sub-6 GHz uplink or downlink RF signal into a 6 to 12 GHz, or 7.7 to 14.5 GHz IF signal. This solution gives you the control, power, and local oscillator frequency input to the Keysight M1740A millimeter-wave (mmWave) transceiver for 5G remote radio heads (RRHs). As an up/down converter and RRH controller, the CIU supports the extension of the frequency coverage from sub-6 GHz to a high IF and mmWave bands.

The CIU is a key component of a wide range Keysight 5G solutions. These solutions provide the stimulus and analysis capabilities necessary to verify transceiver (Tx) and receiver (Rx) performance for 5G chipsets, devices, and base stations.

Internal Triggering and Trace Display Capability

Internal triggering allows triggering based on the burst signal envelope, eliminating the need for an external signal. The trace display provides a graphical view of the signal envelope to assist with gate placement and trigger level setup. All U2000 power sensors, except for the U2004A, feature these capabilities.

The Keysight M9019A PXIe 18-slot Gen 3 chassis delivers the flexibility, compatibility, and performance required for demanding applications. With 16 PXIe hybrid slots, it gives the system designer more flexibility to mix and match the number and location of PXIe and hybrid-compatible modules. The ultra-high performance, PCIe® switch fabric can operate up to Gen 3 providing up to 24 GB/s of system data bandwidth. Combine the M9019A with the M9022A/23A/24A PXIe System Modules and M9048B/49A PCIe Desktop Adapters to achieve up to a Gen 3 x16 PCIe link to an external PC.

The M9019A has an innovative cooling design which allows the chassis to fit into 4U of rack space in most cases. When combined with the latest 1U rack-mounted computer, a powerful system can be built in only 5U of rack space. Additionally, optional “air-inlet” modules can be used to supply more cool air from the front of the chassis.

The Y1217A is a rail kit designed for the M9010A, M9018B, and M9019A when used in a Keysight rack. It can be used with both the rack mount kit and the cable tray kit. The kit includes support rails and attachment hardware. An M9018B or M9019A that is racked using this rail kit and the cable tray uses 5U of rack space. This kit is not compatible with the Y1270A Front Panel Interfacing Kit.

The M9300A PXIe frequency reference is a PXIe-compatible, compact, modular instrument that can be used with the Keysight M9301A synthesizer, M9310A source output, and M9311A modulator to create the world’s fastest vector signal generator, the M9381A. Create a CW source, the M9380A, by combining the M9300A with the M9301A and M9310A or use it as the 10-MHz or 100-MHz reference with other PXI solutions. Control the instrument through a soft front panel and programmatic interfaces tuned to your application development environment of choice.

The M9010A PXIe 10-slot Gen 3 chassis delivers flexibility, compatibility, and performance in a smaller form-factor ideal for bench-top applications. With 8 PXIe hybrid slots, it gives the system designer flexibility to mix and match the number and location of PXIe and hybrid-compatible modules. The maximum performance, PCIe® switch fabric can operate up to Gen 3 providing up to 24 GB/s of system data bandwidth. The new cooling design provides exceptional per-slot cooling while at the same time producing much less fan noise than the typical PXI chassis. It is also designed for easy maintenance and has features for combining multiple chassis together or integrating with other non-PXI instrumentation

The Y1203A PCIe cable is primarily used to interconnect PXIe and AXIe chassis in a multi-chassis system. Hence, it is the perfect companion to the Keysight M9022A, M9023A, and M9024A. It can also be used to connect a PC host card, such as the M9048B, to a PXIe system module, such as the M9022A, if a short cable is desired.

The Y1202A PCIe cable is primarily used to connect a PXIe or AXIe chassis to a desktop or rack-mount computer. Hence, it is the perfect companion to the Keysight M9048A, M9048B, and M9049A.

The Y1215B is a complete rack-mounting kit for the M9018A PXIe chassis. It includes rack flanges, handles, and attachment hardware. It suspends the chassis in a Keysight rack using only 4U of rack space. Rack rails may be needed in a non-Keysight rack and are ordered separately. When rails are used, the chassis will require 5U of rack space.
