Recreate Missing and Distorted Pulses for Debug

Missing and distorted pulses can expose timing, state-machine, and interface-handling issues that may not appear when a device is tested only with ideal periodic signals. Arbitrary waveform generation is used to create missing pulses, malformed pulse widths, edge degradation, and timing irregularities that reproduce those nonideal conditions in a controlled way.

A waveform generator applies the pulse pattern to the device under test while an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, or other measurement instrument captures the resulting response. Dual-channel operation can be used to align a trigger, clock, or reference signal with the injected pulse condition so timing relationships and recovery behavior can be observed more clearly.
